EPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, made for and signed only for Tiffany & Co, 49mm, 18K gold OF original Tiffany case with initials to rear, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 20J, wolf's tooth winding, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#109874. Comes with a fitted leather Tiffany & Co. box as well as with an extract from the Patek Philippe archives noting attributes and sales date of June 26th, 1899. Gross weight of assembled watch 46.6 dwt (72.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical mild micro-fine scratches, small spot to barrel bridge near "Made" marking, few haze marks to barrel bridge surface; virtually flawless dial with few slight micro-fine scratches; excellent hour and seconds-hand, fine minute hand with oxide to its tip; case shows medium wear, scattered dings or shallow denting to rear causing rippling of reflection primarily to its left side, cuvette with a protruding ding at center presumably from mvt center arbor, slight protruding dings to cuvette corresponding with winding arbors, initials to rear with reduced engraving detail, band with darkened tarnish at 6:30; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal; box shows light wear, some small areas of exterior finish loss, initials painted on upper lid, paper label on underside marked "Tiffany 18K P.P. movement."
